This stable-labeledinternal standard is suitable for quantification of posaconazole levels inblood, serum, or plasma by HPLC or LC-MS/MS. Sold under the trade names Noxafil® and Posanol®, the antifungal posaconazole is used to treat invasive and systemic fungal infections. As a result of significant drug interactions, therapeutic drug monitoring of posaconazole is recommended when administered with protease inhibitors (PIs) or non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs).
