\nA series of 2,5-dimethoxy phenethylamines, collectively referred to as 2Cs, have psychoactive effects.{20685,20772} The most effective 2C compounds are substituted at the 4 position of the aromatic ring; many are scheduled as illegal substances.{19963,19758} 2C-P is described formally as 2,5-dimethoxy-4-propylphenethylamine and is structurally analogous to the psychedelic drug 2C-B. The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are not known. LC-MS/MS screening methods for this designer drug have been developed.{21281} This product is intended for forensic and research purposes.
