Payment terms & Conditions of sale

Payment terms:

We accept payment by the following methods:

(a) by cheque or electronic funds transfer (EFT) to our nominated account, net 30 days from invoice date (invoice will accompany goods unless otherwise requested).

(b) by VISA or Mastercard card (receipt will accompany goods unless otherwise requested). A 2% credit card service fee applies.

New customers:

Customers who do not have an account and wish to pay by cheque or EFT net 30 days will require credit approval. Prepayment may be required until credit application is approved. We will be pleased to provide proforma invoices upon request.

Order cancellations:

A cancellation fee may apply to recover all costs incurred by Novachem in relation to the purchase order.

Shipping and delivery:

The customer's choice of carrier will be honoured whenever possible. If not specified, the least expensive means will be used.

Returns:

Returns should be made within 14 days of invoice date. No returns will be accepted without prior authorisation from Novachem. A restocking fee may apply.

Overdue payments:

Overdue payments may be subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% per annum). Pending goods may also be held until payment is received in full.

Limited Warranty:

Novachem's maximum liability for any reason shall be a credit for the purchase price of material or replacement of the product concerned.
